Analysis of results and challenges: In FY2017, the Collections and Support component began a transition that ultimately resulted in disbanding the Collections and Support component effective July 1, 2017 (FY2018). The Child Support unit has been absorbed into the Department of Law's Commercial and Fair Business component, while the victim restitution work has transferred to the Alaska Court System and the remainder of the Collections unit work has been transferred to the Division of Shared Services in the Department of Administration.
